The location is in East Hampton, Connecticut 06424 in Lake Pocatopaug. The lake is 2.7 square miles. Visit a map of the island or go to Google Satellite to see the Twin Islands. West Island/Laurel Island is on the left. East Hampton is about 6 miles past Middletown, CT on route 66 and is located about 25 minutes from Hartford, CT.

parking and travel
Ample parking is available on the shore of Lake Pocotopaug with boats available for travel to the island.

The Island is available for big events, day trips , and overnight stays.

rates

$125/day or part plus $35/person/day for more than two people plus refundable deposit of $300.

Weekends-$375 plus $105/person for more than two people plus a refundable deposit of $300.

4 day Holiday weekends-Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day-$500 plus $140/person for more than two people plus a refundable deposit of $300.

• We provide biodegradable shampoo(in showers), dishsoap, cleansers, toilet paper and sponges
• You bring: flashlight, bedding, towels, drinking water(potable), food
• Row boats are provided- see us for life jackets/floatation cushions
• Large trash and recycling cans are provided at each cabin. We provide bags to line the cans. When they are full during your stay, please bring them to the main dock area for removal from the Island.
• Canoes and kayaks on the Island are not to be used by renters. You can rent recreational kayaks and/or canoes from The Happiest Paddler about 1/4 mile from Island from the western side-Phone 860-267-1764
• We have dogs who can roam the Island. If you are not comfortable with dogs, this is probably not the right rental for you.
• There is no smoking on the Island.
